Social bowls runs every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon, all abilities welcome. Bring flat shoes — we'll lend you a set of woods and show you the ropes.
A season at Greystone
From the first roll-up of spring to the closing finals, here's how the bowling year unfolds on our six-rink crown green.
April — Green opens
The crown green comes back into play after winter, with opening roll-ups and a welcome session for new members.
May — League kicks off
Our competitive teams begin their fixtures in the county leagues, home and away through the summer.
June — Wednesday & Thursday socials
Social afternoons hit full swing, with friendly games and tea in the pavilion for all abilities.
July — Club competitions
Singles, pairs and triples knockouts run through high summer, building towards the finals.
August — Junior sessions
Our junior programme runs coached sessions through the school holidays for newcomers of all ages.
September — Finals & presentation
League results are settled, club champions are crowned and we close the season with the presentation evening.
