Who we are

A friendly club with deep roots

Greystone Bowls Club has been part of village life since 1952, when a handful of locals first rolled a wood across what is now our six-rink crown green. Seventy years on, that same green is maintained to county standard — and the welcome is just as warm.

We're a proper community first and a competitive club second. Whether you fancy a relaxed afternoon roll-up or you're chasing silverware in the summer league, you'll find a spot here. Most folk say it's the company that keeps them coming back, season after season.

What makes us, us

A few things we hold onto — on the green and in the clubhouse.

Open to all abilities

From your very first wood to county-level play, our Wednesday and Thursday social sessions welcome everyone.

A green to be proud of

Our groundsman keeps all six rinks to county standard, season in and season out.

Genuine community

It's the friendships, the cups of tea and the easy banter that bring people back year after year.
